Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM)

As part of the Army’s Sustainable Range Program (SRP), Fort Pickett has a very strong ITAM program.

ITAM is the mechanism by which we repair damage resulting from maneuvering vehicles, troops, etc. in the training areas. The Fort Pickett ITAM funds and upgrades some of our training facilities and training areas at Fort Pickett and also helps to ensure that training areas and facilities are ready and available for training purposes and sustained in that fashion.

Another important task performed by Fort Pickett Itam is to ensure that the natural environment and resources of the installation are protected and maintained.
