Infantry Platoon Battle Course (IPBC) The MTC Fort Pickett IPBC is a 300 acre live fire range with 70 Stationary Infantry Targets, 14 Moving Infantry targets, 6 stationary Armor Targets, and 1 Moving Armor Target 300 meters long. There are also 13 Infantry Hostile Fire Simulators which can play 35 Battle sounds and 15 Battle Effects simulators on the range.

Leadership Reaction Course (LRC) Consists of 17 tasks at 5 stations designed to develop and improve individual leadership techniques, and develop small unit cohesion under stress conditions. Each station and task is used to train the small unit leader in logical thinking and problem solving in overcoming obstacles, and develop confidence in his and the team's abilities.

Confidence Course Located Southwest of the reservoir in Maneuver Area 60. Designed to help the individual soldier overcome own physical and mental fears and inhibitions regarding physical obstacles, and increase self-confidence in his or her own abilities. There are 19 obstacles/tasks for the soldier to complete or overcome individually.
