SAFETY
High amounts of noise are inherent with most military training.

Sources of noise may include:  live and blank small arms firing, artillery, demolitions, simulators, and aircraft.

To reduce noise pollution, Fort Pickett Regulation  350-2 prohibits:

--live firing from main guns on ranges 13, 15, and 16 on Sunday between 0900 and 1200
--high performance aircraft flight on Sunday between 0900 and 1200
--training within certain recreational areas
